SACCO MEMBERSHIP
Ubora Sacco membership is open to employees of KEBS, Members Outside Common Bond(employees of other organisations), Spouses of Members, and Children above 18 years introduced by Sacco members.
Members are eligible to patronize loan facilities after three (3) months of consistent savings in the Back Office Services Activity (BOSA) Section.
Requirements
- 1. Membership fees is Kshs.1,000. This is paid at the point of registration or through the first salary deduction.
- 2. Minimum monthly deposit contribution is Kshs 1,500.00
- 3. Minimum Share Capital for new member is 500 shares equivalent to Ksh.10,000
- 4. Qualification for a loan is after 3 Months of consistent saving.
- 5. Monthly Contributions acceptable through any mode of payment i.e. Standing Orders, Payroll Deductions from employer, Cheques, Over the counter deposits & M-Pesa
How To Join?
- 1. Dully fill membership application form.
- 2. Complete a beneficiary nomination form
- 3. Provide a copy of ID or Valid Passport
- 4. Provide a copy of KRA PIN Certificate.
- 5. Provide two colored passport size photograph
- 6. Registeration fee of Ksh. 1000

Withdrawing from the Sacco
- The following is a withdrawal procedure Should a member wish to withdraw from the Sacco;
- 1.Fill in an exit withdrawal form
- 2.If you are a member withdrawing from the society and have guaranteed , the guarantor should find an alternative guarantor replacement
- 3.Deposits refunded within 60 days
- 4.Member may opt to retain shares or sell/transfer to an existing member.
